AI Policy

Effective Date: This Policy is effective as of March 2, 2026. Approved by Alex Covert, President of Lasso Up.

Our Commitment to Responsible AI Use

At Lasso Up, we move fast, think sharp, and back every decision with strategy and integrity. This AI Policy ensures we use artificial intelligence (AI) to strengthen our work and improve efficiency while protecting our clients.

We support the use of GenAI Tools in a smart, secure, and ethical manner. At the same time, we recognize that the use of GenAI Tools can pose risks to our operations and our clients, related to intellectual property infringement, data security, confidentiality, and accuracy.

The purpose of this Generative AI Use Policy (“Policy”) is to provide our employees with rules for the responsible use of GenAI Tools, aimed at mitigating the risk of breach of client contracts, infringement of intellectual property, misuse, unethical outcomes, potential biases, inaccuracy, and information security breaches.

Core Principles

1) Maintain Humanity

AI should enhance — not replace — the human experience. Lasso Up prioritizes empathy, creativity, and personal connection in all client interactions. AI must never be implemented in ways that diminish service quality, reduce personalization, or negatively impact our clients’ experience.

2) Quality Over Quantity

AI tools are used to improve the quality of our work, not to mass-produce. AI should elevate the quality of our strategy, insights, messaging, design, and technical work. If it doesn’t sharpen the work, we don’t use it.

3) Trust But Verify

AI can misunderstand requests, hallucinate information, or generate low-quality outputs. Team members must critically review all AI-generated content, fact-check information, and validate recommendations.

Nothing generated by AI is assumed correct without human verification.

4) Protect Client Data

Client confidentiality is non-negotiable. Team members must never expose or input sensitive client information into AI tools unless the tool explicitly ensures security and data protection.

This includes:

  • Proprietary strategies
  • Internal reports or documentation
  • Financial information
  • Any data shared privately or under NDA

When in doubt, anonymize or avoid using the data altogether.

5) Transparent AI Practices

Lasso Up is committed to openness about how AI is used in our work. When requested, we clearly disclose when AI meaningfully contributes to deliverables or informs strategy.

6) Build to Scale

AI systems should remove friction, not create it. Everything we deploy will help you move faster and stay ahead — with fewer bottlenecks and more clarity around what’s working.

Acceptable Uses of AI

AI helps us cut through complexity, move faster, and deliver sharper work — as long as it aligns with our principles. Examples of acceptable uses include:

Content & Marketing Support

  • Drafting outlines, summaries, and early content concepts
  • Generating keyword ideas and SEO direction
  • Brainstorming campaign angles or strategy concepts

Creative & Design Assistance

  • Creative exploration and mood boards
  • Color, layout, or concept variations
  • Producing base assets for designer review

Development & Technical Support

  • Code suggestions and optimizations
  • Diagnostics, troubleshooting, and refactoring
  • Technical research or structured prompts for development challenges

Operational Support

  • Meeting summaries
  • Drafting internal documentation
  • Research synthesis
  • Project planning assistance
  • Administrative task support to improve internal efficiency

Data Analysis & Insights

As a growth marketing partner, we make data-driven decisions. AI plays a valuable role in helping us process large datasets and uncover patterns that support smart marketing decisions. AI may be used to:

  • Analyze SEO performance, ad data, lead trends, and behavior patterns
  • Identify correlations, anomalies, or shifts worth exploring
  • Generate preliminary insights for internal review
  • Improve strategy recommendations
  • Help clients maximize budget and performance through sharper analytics

All AI-assisted insights must be validated and interpreted by a human strategist before informing client-facing decisions.

Prohibited Uses of AI

To protect clients and uphold quality standards, the following uses of AI are not allowed:

Exposing Confidential Data

No sensitive or proprietary client information may be entered into AI tools that do not fully guarantee data privacy.

Delivering Unverified Output

  • Providing AI-generated content directly to clients without human editing and approval
  • Treating AI insights as fact without validation

Misrepresentation

We never present AI work as purely human-created or allow AI to mimic individuals or expertise.

Ethical or Copyright Risks

  • Creating content that infringes on trademarks or copyrights
  • Using AI-generated content that introduces harmful, biased, or discriminatory material

Replacing Human Partnership

AI should never reduce personalization, clarity, or the quality of the client experience. If AI usage makes our support feel less human or less collaborative, it is not acceptable.
