Effective Date: This Policy is effective as of March 2, 2026. Approved by Alex Covert, President of Lasso Up.
At Lasso Up, we move fast, think sharp, and back every decision with strategy and integrity. This AI Policy ensures we use artificial intelligence (AI) to strengthen our work and improve efficiency while protecting our clients.
We support the use of GenAI Tools in a smart, secure, and ethical manner. At the same time, we recognize that the use of GenAI Tools can pose risks to our operations and our clients, related to intellectual property infringement, data security, confidentiality, and accuracy.
The purpose of this Generative AI Use Policy (“Policy”) is to provide our employees with rules for the responsible use of GenAI Tools, aimed at mitigating the risk of breach of client contracts, infringement of intellectual property, misuse, unethical outcomes, potential biases, inaccuracy, and information security breaches.
AI should enhance — not replace — the human experience. Lasso Up prioritizes empathy, creativity, and personal connection in all client interactions. AI must never be implemented in ways that diminish service quality, reduce personalization, or negatively impact our clients’ experience.
AI tools are used to improve the quality of our work, not to mass-produce. AI should elevate the quality of our strategy, insights, messaging, design, and technical work. If it doesn’t sharpen the work, we don’t use it.
AI can misunderstand requests, hallucinate information, or generate low-quality outputs. Team members must critically review all AI-generated content, fact-check information, and validate recommendations.
Nothing generated by AI is assumed correct without human verification.
Client confidentiality is non-negotiable. Team members must never expose or input sensitive client information into AI tools unless the tool explicitly ensures security and data protection.
This includes:
When in doubt, anonymize or avoid using the data altogether.
Lasso Up is committed to openness about how AI is used in our work. When requested, we clearly disclose when AI meaningfully contributes to deliverables or informs strategy.
AI systems should remove friction, not create it. Everything we deploy will help you move faster and stay ahead — with fewer bottlenecks and more clarity around what’s working.
AI helps us cut through complexity, move faster, and deliver sharper work — as long as it aligns with our principles. Examples of acceptable uses include:
As a growth marketing partner, we make data-driven decisions. AI plays a valuable role in helping us process large datasets and uncover patterns that support smart marketing decisions. AI may be used to:
All AI-assisted insights must be validated and interpreted by a human strategist before informing client-facing decisions.
To protect clients and uphold quality standards, the following uses of AI are not allowed:
No sensitive or proprietary client information may be entered into AI tools that do not fully guarantee data privacy.
We never present AI work as purely human-created or allow AI to mimic individuals or expertise.
AI should never reduce personalization, clarity, or the quality of the client experience. If AI usage makes our support feel less human or less collaborative, it is not acceptable.
Approved platforms with integrated AI features include:
Future AI Tools: New AI tools may be added only after evaluation by leadership.
Trust is foundational to our brand and client partnerships. We safeguard client data by:
AI evolves quickly, and so do we. This policy will be reviewed routinely and updated to ensure:
